Originally from Harford County Maryland, I lived in Bavaria, Germany, Alexandria, Virginia, and now Lakeridge Virginia next to the Occoquan river. Jewelry has always been a love of mine, as is music, travel, animals, and the outdoors. Sometime in 2001, I started seriously experimenting with making jewelry.
  
After living in Bavaria for 7 years (and seeing much of Europe), I spent almost 3 months in Ireland in 1997, much of it in County Sligo--thus the name Sligo's Treasures. Most of my travels since 1998 have been repeated trips to Colorado, Utah, the Southwest, the Pacific Northwest, and Canada. I've been to Alaska and Hawaii and driven cross country to Wyoming with my Dad to see cousins and their families. In 2019 I was able to spend 2 weeks in Scotland; I drove most of the North Coast 500 and visited the neolithic sites on the Orkney Islands. I love coming home to my cats.
